I don't mind these Mondays when I take the day off and get to spend the day enjoying the cooler weather and hanging out with my good friend Erin in Detroit. We both have a mutual love for fashion and food. What better way to spend the day than trying out new bakeries and clothing boutiques?

While we were checking out boutiques in Birmingham, we stopped at a place called Tender with a range of beautiful clothing from Balmain to Miu Miu. While we were browsing, a lady (assuming either the owner or manager) approached us and asked, "So...do you girls..work?" The condescending question gave me the sudden urge to slap her. Well, not really, but it angered us both.
