This past weekend was hectic! I spent all day on Friday with my mom attempting to find her new shoes (unsuccessful) and went to Spartan Speedway Friday night for some redneck fun with my friend Travis to watch the company he works for compete in bus figure eights. If you're not familiar with this race, companies or organizations can rent a bus, paint it and then race on the track. I got up early on Saturday to meet up with a blogger, Lucy of Dear Fish Vintage and her friend, Elyse from New Jersey. She's on a summer long road trip with Elyse and stopped by Lansing on her way through Michigan. I spent the rest of the day on Saturday photographing a beautiful wedding for an insanely gorgeous couple followed by another fabulous wedding yesterday! My feets hurt and I feel exhausted, but it was such a good weekend.
Whether it's my marc jacobs handbags or my toilet paper, I love anything quilted including this impulsive purchase: the bcbg jacket. I wore a more simple version of this outfit for last week's legislative breakfast that I coordinate, trading out the leggings for a skirt. When I saw this jacket I immediately wanted to style it with these mesh leggings. Yet, I knew they wouldn't fly at work so I'm still thinking about where I can wear this outfit out to.
